Susan Baird is a painter and print-maker whose artistic oeuvre has developed out of her practical exploration of her medium. Since 1984 she has had 10 solo shows and a dozen group shows. In 1992, Baird undertook practical study in New York City at the Studio School. During this time she developed a major series of Manhattan landscapes which were subsequently bought as part of several major corporate collections based in both the US and Australia. She is currently working in Sydney.
